Being as familiar with windows phone as I am, the ahhah moments come less frequently. As I continue to play with the Windows Phone 8.1 developer preview I feel like I did when I first got the platform. Today’s moment came via a text message from a friend. He asked if we could meet up tomorrow at a popular restaurant chain. I immediately noticed a small underline under the words tomorrow night. When I tapped those words I was surprised to find Cortana offering to add an appointment to my calendar for tomorrow night with that restaurant as the destination. I hadn’t heard this feature being described but was pleasantly surprised by it. I can’t wait to see what I find next.
